neighborhood as a group can do to "solve" this problem of a very large organization that wishes to grow larger, in an area with no vacant space to accommodate such growth. In the time since the now rejected lawsuit was filed, HPBC has filed plans to construct two sizable buildings on Speedway and an extension of the existing parking garage that would be smaller than the one that was the subject of the lawsuit. These plans are believed to have been filed for the purpose of preserving options or as the basis for future litigation rather than being serious first steps to build. The plans could have a lifetime of their own exceeding a decade without any actual construction taking place. Again, since the HPBC leadership has chosen not to discuss this with any member of the neighborhood we really have no idea what their intentions may be. It is possible that they themselves may not have decided what they are going to do. We continue to live in interesting times, even here in own little corner of the world.
