Born Again
Born again?
Of course we're born again
over and over and over.
It's the name of the game.
No one has a copyright
on it, for God sake.
We come rolling out
of the Mother Womb
like bowling balls
over and over again,
newly spawned,
innocent as minnows.
There's no patent
on the process.
Nobody owns it.
It's our nature.
It's what we are:
born again
till death do us part
and beyond. . .

To Friends and Neighbors:
It's a new year, time to reflect or declutter,so go through your
stacks of poetry, your words dear and intense, and send them to me:
