International Exchange Students Coming to the Austin Area
Austin, Texas - The EF Foundation is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that brings exchange students ages fifteen to seventeen from countries around the world to live in the United States with American host families. While in the USA, exchange students go to public schools in their host family's area and are here to learn all about America. As well, the students share traditions from their cultures with the host families. The students already know English, come with spending money and insurance. Host families are volunteers that provide room and meals and a loving environment for the exchange students. Students arrive in August and in January for a semester of one full school year.

If you have not traveled around the world, but have wanted to experience other cultures, why not bring the world to your home by hosting an exchange student. Students come from countries such as Germany, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, China and other countries as well. It's a fun and enriching experience that you will always remember. We are now interviewing prospective host families for students arriving now and for the Fall 2003 and Spring 2004 semesters. For more information, contact the local coordinator who lives in Hyde Park, Robert X. Hernandez, at 374-9468 or email bobhdz43fcamp@yahoo.com.
