Grant Announcement for Elisabet Ney Museum

Save America's Treasures has given the Museum $250,000 as the anchor for an effort to reach $750,000 for restoration efforts. The gathering today was to make that announcement. This is tax money, about $20,000,000 per year, for projects around the U.S. which compete for grants. The money is administered by the National Park Service. The National Trust for Historic Preservation designates the thing being preserved as an "Official Projects of Save America's Treasures". The grants must be doubly matched by non-federal monies in order to be spent. More details may ferreted from the web link above.
