Mayor Richter to HPNA: Thank You!

Dear Neighbors,
At the recent Fire Station Festival the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association honored Walter and me by creating the Good Citizen

Dorothy Richter on the mend.

Award in our name to be given each year to a worthy Hyde Park person. Grant Thomas appropriately received the first award for having served 25 years as the Pecan Press editor, a record of dedication which will be hard to follow.
    I have been honored several times over the years that I have lived in Hyde Park, but this annual award in Walter's and my name carries the most meaning of all. Thank you HPNA from both of us.
