Letters ...cont'd from page 11
Your suggestion that I reconsider our move to Buda is tempting, especially knowing there are houses for sale on Park Blvd. I've always loved that street. My aunt and uncle, David and Ruby Sponberg, lived all their married life on Park Blvd.....either 703 or 705 (foggy memory again)...one house from the corner. It was a plain, rather small semi-craftsman style house with an attached drive-through car port and a separate regular garage in back. It was not a very interesting house, but they kept it in perfect, spotless condition (no children). Of course, they are both gone now. Your house is two blocks west of theirs, on the same side of the street. If memory serves me, you must live near the stream...really the most beautiful part of Park Blvd. I will take you up on your offer of a tour of your restored house, and will call when I'm back in Texas. The Summer Porch Concerts sound wonderful. How does one get on the invitation list? (smiling)
