The event will begin with kids and parents assembling in Shipe Park at 1:30 p.m. on that very special Sunday to march in the parade. As always, participants are encouraged to decorate bikes, trikes, strollers, and

anything else that rolls, and to bring along pets as well (as long as they're well-behaved, and on a leash). Everyone is urged to dress in their most festive outfits, and musical instruments and other noise making devices are welcome. The parade route will commence around Ave G and 44th, Park thank the Austin firefighters who have helped keep us safe for so head south on Ave. G, turn west at 43d, and end at the Fire Station. Much of the City leadership will be in attendance to celebrate and to help Hyde many years. This event also marks the passing of the torch to new officers in the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association.
