The historic AGE Building at 3710 Cedar was
founded in 1908 as a home for Confederate women.
Through the foresight of AGE's founders, Willie Kocurek
and Bert Kruger Smith, AGE offers centrally
located, reasonably priced office space and administrative
services for 26 not-for-profit organizations.
Other AGE programs:
- The Caregiver Resource Center, in collaboration
with the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital
Area, provides equipment, information, education
and consultation to caregivers and their families.
A durable medical equipment lending closet
opened in 2004.
- Elderhaven Adult Day Care is the only medical-
model, licensed adult day care center in Travis
County, providing a safe and stimulating environment
for the elderly and disabled.
- SeniorNet Computer Learning Institute offers
beginning, intermediate and advanced computer
classes and seminars taught by well-qualified volunteers.
