February minutes...
...cont'd from page 12
graffiti cleanup kits and employees out in the Grande trucks
try to be vigilant in removing graffiti as soon as they notice
it. A discussion ensued about the best way to attack
the problem in our neighborhood. Anyone interested in
organizing a volunteer cleanup, or heading a permanent
committee, is encouraged to contact John Kerr, HPNA
President.
Memorial Benches:
After these discussions, John made some update
announcements and suggested that HPNA purchase
benches for the grounds of the Ney Museum in honor of
neighbors who were integral parts of the character of the
neighborhood for decades. Agnes Edwards and Josephine
Casey were mentioned as possible first candidates for
memorial benches. Further discussion will take place about this.
The last few minutes of the meeting were spent discussing
varied topics of interest around the neighborhood,
and the meeting was adjourned at 8 pm-a short, informative
meeting befitting the short month. Hope to see you in March!
