has been a new and exciting addition, and this year
it's a new screened porch
and a redesigned garden.
Take a carriage again,
if you wish, and let it
take you to Formosa, the
former home of world-renowned sculptor Elisabet
Ney. The fourth stop on
the tour will have artists
and musicians,and writers
and poets. Our neighbors
will be celebrating the

plete some of these sidewalks. The
carriages will stop at the next home at
200 W 40th Street. John Spence and Cindy Agee
have graciously opened their
home for this year's tour. As you enter
this beautiful example of Colonial Revival architecture you will be welcomed
by sculptures created by the owner. Inside, the staircase that rises from the
entranceway and the stained glass
panes throughout the house attest to the

spirit of Ms. Ney and husband
Edmond Montgomery, artistic and
literary luminaries of a century ago.
Besides touring the museum, you
should spend some time here enjoying ice cream and listening to the
music while talking to and enjoying
the work of our modern-day artists and writers. The kids will finish
here on their treasure hunt and will
be rewarded for finding some of the

careful restoration efforts
of these long-term residents of Hyde Park.
From here to the third
home on the tour you
may stroll the sidewalks
or take a historic carriage
ride under Austin's first
moonlight tower at 41st
and Speedway, which is
celebrating its 110th anniversary. The next home is
