Know About Conspirare...
...cont'd from page 11

Hyde Park's reputation as a close-knit community that fosters creativity and individuality is the perfect model, not only for this choir but also for their upcoming concert.

Conspirare will close its 12th season with a concert at Riverbend Centre on Sunday, June 19, at 7:00 p.m. Featured in the program is Sir Michael Tippett's provocative and profoundly moving masterpiece for choir, orchestra and soloists, A Child Of Our Time. Created in response to events leading up the Holocaust, this work incorporates African-American spirituals into the musical fabric -- bridging it to the ageless issue of man's inhumanity to man. The concert will close with the final two movements of Mahler's stirring Resurrection Symphony, leaving the audience with the hope for a future of community harmony, tolerance and acceptance.

THIS is why Hyde Parkers should know about Conspirare. Mark your calendars for June 19 (after the Homes Tour) and don't miss this musical highlight of 2005! For ticket information, contact Conspirare at 476-5775, info@conspirare.org, or visit www.conspirare.org.
