Shipe Park Greening for “It’s My Park Day” 2008

Saturday, April 16th 1- 5 pm.

Volunteers will spread mulch, aerate ground, weed, and clean up Shipe Park. We will build upon the momentum and success of last year's project. We will also celebrate the recent planting of new trees in the park. Children and dogs are welcome. Volunteers should bring rakes, shovels, lopping shears, spades, leaf rakes, and wheel barrows. These should be labeled with the owner's name. The success of last year's project was celebrated and volunteers were honored at last fall's Hyde Park Fire Station Festival.
