Welcome to Hyde Park
Hyde Park is a historic neighborhood located in central Austin, Texas, within the boundaries of 38th Street, 51st Street, Guadeloupe, Duval, and (north of 45th Street) Red River. Founded in 1974, the HPNA exists to foster and preserve the unique community, amenities, and historic character of Hyde Park. Our newsletter, The Pecan Press, is distributed monthly to about 2,000 homes in the neighborhood. The association generally meets monthly.

Help Keep Shipe Pool Open Through Labor Day!
Friends of Shipe Pool is raising the funds needed to extend our pool season a couple of extra weeks at the end of the summer. It will take approx $3500 to keep the pool open through Labor Day weekend – two full weeks beyond the current closing date of August 22nd . (Remember how hot it is at that time of year?!)
How you can help: make a donation to extend the season for Shipe Pool!

Under Gifts for Special Funds select “Shipe Park POOL”. This will take you to PayPal to complete your contribution.
Or, write a check
Personal checks should be made out to “Austin Parks Foundation”.
