Join our community group dedicated to bringing together residents of one of Austin’s oldest neighborhoods.
Austin’s Hyde Park Neighborhood Association exists to foster a closer, more genuine community of neighbors and to preserve and improve the unique character, amenities, and ecology of one of Austin’s oldest neighborhoods.
Founded in 1974, the Association is made up of volunteers dedicated to improving the quality of life for Hyde Park residents. We are not a homeowners association (HOA).
We host monthly meetings and special task force committees focused on areas of interest to residents as well as fun, community-building events designed to bring folks together. Many of these events also showcase and celebrate some of the neighborhood’s local treasures and historical landmarks.

Advertise with us; we hand deliver copies to 800 homes
in Hyde Park each month, and offer it free at over 30 other locations in and around Hyde Park
The current boundaries of the Hyde Park Neighborhood, as defined in HPNA bylaws are:
South of 45th Street, HPNA is bounded by 38th Street, 45th Street, Guadalupe Street and Duval Street.
North of 45th Street, HPNA is bounded by 45th Street, 51st Street, Red River Street and Guadalupe Street except for the University of Texas Intramural Fields, which are not a part of HPNA.
